You raise some excellent issues. Shallam and her allies did indeed
attempt to destroy the heart after the gods granted visions and
warned of the dangers.
The Cultists and Twilight knew of the consequences to mortalkind
should they have been successful. You may not have had the luxury
of that information at the time, and may have blindly followed the
Cultists, but you DO know now!
Twilight obviously cared more about taking the power of Thoth than
he did about mortal life since he was more than willing to sacrifice
one for the other.
People aren't raising the heart issues though to gloat over a
victory, we hardly consider the loss of Deucalion a victory, but
to highlight to you how you were deceived and more importantly to
highlight how you dont seem to care. Is your hatred of others
such that you will overlook the compasionless manipulation of yourself
and others by Twilight and the Cultists, simply to be able to insult
Shallam a little more? If so I weep for the hollow shell of humanity
that you are.
