Death's Heart and everyone's role in it

OKAY! We get the point, Shallam saved Achaea. WOW. Sinice you constantly bring it up, how can we not?
But, what would've happened if Twilight told the Ashtanians to kill death's heart because we like the big bad evil vampires and the Shallamites to help preserve it to get rid of the vampires?? (or whatever other reason, vampires is just an example)
Then, like blind fools, the church would have been working to protect the heart, while we would be trying to slay it.
You see, you'd do whatever the gods told you to do. Stop telling us that we blindly followed the gods into our own death trap, you did the same, except it just so happens that what you did saved us.
I don't see why you keep making it look as if it was your own genius ideas (addressed to the church) that perserved Achaea, because it wasn't. You are also just doing whatever you are told to do because without it, you'd be lost.

Wow do you know how long I've been wanting to say that.
