Innocents

What I find funny (even though it has never happened to me) is
the claim of people to defend innocents. Of these people I ask
several questions...

1. How do you know they are innocent? Do you watch them every
waking moment of their lives? If not how can you claim that
they have never commited a sin and are thus innocent?

2. When you see two people fighting, how do you know which started
the fight? How can you be certain that a citizen of Tasur'Ke did
not throw a drunken punch to start it, or maybe lost their temper
or even mind and started to attack?

3. And also, why do you slay those who have hurt your "innocents"?
Especially if they are much weaker than you, why don't you imprison
or disable them? You become judge, jury, and executioner but you
fail to realize that for all the guilty you may slay, you are human
and might make a mistake. (I'm sorry I meant to say mortal instead
of human) And if you do make a mistake, you will have slain an
innocent yourself...and by your own philosophy deserve death.

Just posting these questions to all the defenders out there, and
awaiting your responses. I also wish to say that I mean no offense
by what I write here, and hopefully you can answer my questions
quickly and easily after giving them due thought.
