Hmm this isn't my area of expertise, but a grove does differ from a sword as it is a living thing. It may be used as a weapon as a sword, but it can also feel pain, and retribution might be just. Now don't assume that I run around and start fires, I was just proposing a theoretical scenario in which we could "get even" with the aggressor. From a strategic standpoint, it would make perfect sense to destroy the grove, as to ensure it doesn't harm me again.
