Dark Salutations, Achaeans,
As many of you know the prophecy of a certain disheveled mad man has come to pass and the Heart of Death has come. Know, Achaeans, that it is the immortal heart of Thoth Himself. In My endless quest as a broker of information, I have learned that The Quisalar and the cultists require those who would aid him to SACRIFICE CORPSE when at the heart in order to awaken the Lord of Death. I take this opportunity, however, to caution any who is skilled in the art of necromancy from attempting to draw energy from the Heart for it will result in your instant death. Know also that I have found it will take an immense amount of death energy located within the corpses, to allow the heart to grow and in time awaken Thoth. Those who oppose the Quisalar will move to destroy the heart. Because Thoth remains in a deep slumber, His heart is vulnerable to attack and thus the heart can be banished by ATTACKing the HEART. This also will take an immense amount of effort by those who oppose the return of Thoth.
I have refrained from making a judgement on these developments, since they first came to My attention, and I shall continue to do so, for I wish for you, the inhabitants of Sapience, to decide for yourself what to do, thus I present you with the facts.
As many of you know, Aegis has just recently declared war on the city-state of Hashan in an attempt to force the guilds located therein to change certain inguilding practices. As Divine Patron of Hashan, I will _not_ permit Him to interfere with Hashan, thus I have moved to battle Him in the Garden in an attempt to protect the free-will of My beloved Hashan. We _shall_ prove triumphant. But I digress.
This war has been brewing in the Garden unbeknownst to mortal kind for quite a while. Alliances are formed and broken in the Garden often, and there are those that would ally with Aegis against Me. Aegis and His ilk, know that there are also those that would ally with Me. The root of Aegis' and His allies opposition to the return of Thoth is simply politics within the Garden. Aegis, Deucalion and Aurora know that if Thoth were to return, He would ally with Me in the cause of freedom, for is not death the ultimate form of freedom? Deucalion has even gone so far as to place a portion of His essence at the Heart in an attempt to take a direct hand in thwarting the awakening of My Brother. Thus, those three gods wish for Thoth to not return.
Aye, I've heard of the prophecies of the destruction of "life as we know it," but I say, were prophecies similar to this not used to try to thwart the return of My Sister, Eris? Has Eris been a "bane to the Church" as I heard She would be when Her children were trying to awaken Her from Her deep slumber? I think not. So I say unto you, Achaeans, these prophecies of doom and damnation are most likely unfounded and based on the mistaken beliefs (and politicking, I might add) of some gods who are afraid that the Balance of Power will be tipped in the Garden, if Thoth does indeed return.
So now Achaeans, the choice is yours. Do you submit to the manipulations of those that would control you like puppets? Or do you make the choice for free will and DECIDE FOR YOURSELF?
