The Church

Lady Eris,
I appologise for my out of place interjection of my opinions
and my presumption as to what you well know.

The church has not evolved from a strict moral code, the code
remains, but the churches enemies should not expect to be
dealt with lightly, simply because we are merciful whenever
possible. It is inevitable that occasionally there will be
those whom the church allows in (due to its policy of not
rejecting people out of hand purely for belief) that there
will be those whose behaviour is not suitable for the church.
When this behaviour is revealed those individuals are dealt
with in an appropriate manner.

As to coopers actions, whilst I cannot see into his heart
he has been at war with the Infernals for a long time, he
has always killed them on sight, and was offered a divine
favour to continue doing the same, I am saddened that times
require such killing of people at all, but if he did no more
than kill the churches enemies I do not condemn his actions, nor
do I believe it affects the churches moral code.

I would also like to state I have no intention of provoking
Lord Twilight, nor do I presume to know the meaning of Lord
Sartan's Patronage, infact I have not the slightest clue as to
the meaning, I simply stated the claimed reason for the
Infernals warring on the church as it was given to me by the
Infernals themselves.

Respectfully as always,
Isildur,
Archprelate.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Scarlatan, in the year 240 AF.
