I rarely take the Church's side in things, although
I often feel that Shallam is in the right. The child-
ren are surely loved, if they are freely accepted into
Handel's Choir. The Church has the means to support and
love the children of Shallam, and so they do. The sheer
number of orphans prohibits them from scouring the city
to find them all, I'm sure.

I am neither a citizen nor supporter of Shallam, and
have been known to champion Ashtan's cause in the past.
However, the murder of children is something I find
difficult to condone.
