The church considers construction of a shrine by a power not affiliated with the Church for the sole purpose of creating strife a mockery of our sacred beliefs and traditions. The Church also considers our promises to be sacred--products or instruments of breaking our promises in this treaty are likewise considered unholy, and are not sacred to us.

The Church also trusts the word of our members, and we understand the impossibility of building a golden shrine so fast in Ashtan by the few Church members who are skillful enough to build shrines, especially considering the fact that all or most of them were enemies of Ashtan. Therefore, we have proof enough that a Church member did not build this shrine. Accordingly, Dalamar, being an enemy of ashtan as well, while not a Church member, could not have built this shrine. Although at a loss to explain its appearance, the Church blames no one, although we are much offended by this mockery of our moral code, a sacred symbol constructed for the sole purpose of creating strife and ridiculing the Church.
