Element, Dalamar and the situation

Well, I've been reading this little chronicle, looking over
yet another problem with the treaty. Hmm.. Convocation.

I'm curious... why, if Element broke the treaty first as everyone
says, wasn't it immediatly taken to the authorities, who would
have enemied Element in every city, a truly terrible punishment.
No, instead you took it upon yourself to act. Is this right?
No. So even _if_ Element broke the treaty, Dalamar clearly did
as well. So why aren't they BOTH enemied from every city.

You know the answer, so do I. No one intends to really follow
this treaty, it's yet another political game. Why? Because no
one is willing to follow the law.

The politics of Shallam and Ashtan are starting to disgust me.
Is this the best you can do? I suggest you all gather your
spines and begin ENFORCING the treaty, for the better of Achaea,
even if it means throwing your friends out of the city...

I don't think anyone truly wants to see another war of such
ludicrous proportions again. So please, do your jobs, follow
the letter of the law. No one said it would be an easy or
forgiving path.
