I wish to disillusion Sinistar and anyone who believes his words right now when I say Hashan played no part, representative or not, in the drafting of any ultimatum. There is room perhaps for the noble Sinistar to have misconstrued our involvement, especially when one considers he was not directly present at any meeting in which Hashan attended.

The minutes from the meetings that official representatives of Hashan *did* attend, the minutes that were passed on to the Seneschal and to me, indicate that the meetings discussed action against certain repressive practices. Throughout the proceedings, the city expressed interest in such actions. However, no "ultimatum" was drafted according to these minutes, nor did the office of the Seneschal sanction any statement to be made on the city's behalf.

Hashan makes its own statements, and we apologize for any undue confusion regarding our involvement in the ultimatum. While it is true that Hashan is seeking implementation of a treaty between Sapience's major powers, Hashan must also maintain a sovereign state. Respect the will of the Seneschal.
