Ashtan vs. the Church, Oakstone, the Forest, and shrines.

To clear up the first point of your last post, the leaders of Ashtan met
with me, a Hierophant, to discuss the placement of shrines in the
Forests. The forestal guilds have had a longstanding agreement with
the Church regarding this matter that predates Oakstone. Shrines are
not to be placed in the Forests, and the Church has abided by this
agreement so far, though the matter of the shrine in the Tsol'aa Village
cause some uproar, but has since been decided that the removal of
the shrine would be dependant on the wishes of the ruler of said
village.
To make things clear for everyone, Oakstone is not siding with Ashtan
or the Church in this matter. We remain out of it so long as the Forest
is not harmed. This is also not an invitation for the citizens of Ashtan
or anyone else for that matter to drag their war into the Forest due to
a lack of shrines therein. Don't come looking to us for a 'safe place to
kill Churchies' because that's not what the Forests are.
Thank you, however, for your concern, Claryssa.
