As the Vault turns and the seasons pass, time continues to extract its inexorable toll upon you all. This is not a reason for lamentation or regret, but an opportunity to make a name for yourself in the wider world.

Jurixe Nithilar, the current Head of the Asterian Restoration, will not be leading the planning, coordination, and presentation of the next offering of that exalted group of scholars and performers. Though her tenure is long and storied, it is time for another to step forth and take the reins of the most prestigious and far-reaching demonstration of erudition and creativity in Sapience.

Thus, I say to you all:

If you believe you possess the drive and capability to lead this newest effort from the Asterian Restoration, send Me a letter with your application. Include what vision you see for the next offering and what your philosophy on the work of the Restoration and its benefits to mortalkind entails.

Do not be cowed by the phantasms of youth, inexperience, shyness, insecurity, or unlikeability. A moment is presented for you to seize, and I would rather see all hands reach for it than know they are stayed by fear of rejection.

Whether you are chosen for the role, or not, know that there will be a place for you when the time comes to participate. The many voices of the world must rise together to ensure that everything that is worth remembering is remembered.
