I will never diminish the Aalen's long history of choosing their own path, nor the fact that they chose alliance with Eleusis now after centuries of rejecting it. The Tsol'aa Kingdom is the cradle in which mortals first learned to live in balance with Nature, and its people have guarded that legacy with extraordinary care. That kinship is why this alliance exists.

Please do not demean a king who has chosen to act with restraint and purpose, despite enduring a profound loss. The alliance between Eleusis and the Aalen Tsol'aa was entered into with open eyes, mutual respect, and no illusions about the world we face. That is the truth of it, whether convenient or not.
