Tih,
I do not often write here as I tend to keep myself busy, but I find myself with a few moments to spare for you. How wonderful.
Too often do we allow personal beliefs to blind us to the full picture. You write until your fingers are ready to bleed, justifying your stance and actions, yet the truth remains simple. Allow me to break it down.
First. The Tsol'aa King and his people rejected Cyrene's offers because they wanted nothing to do with Cyrene. Your own words confirm this repeated offers, repeated rejections or silence. This is self-explanatory.
Second. Because of these rejections, Cyrene chose to conquer them and hold dominion over them. You may dress a duck in thirty different outfits, but it remains a duck. They did not want Cyrene. Cyrene forced its will upon them regardless.
Third. In your professed protection of the Aalen, perhaps you should heed your own words and recognize that what they seek protection from stands closer than you care to admit namely, the very city now claiming to be their guardian.
One cannot offer shelter from the storm while holding the axe that felled their trees.
You may write back if you wish, and I will do my best to find some time for you. But do rest those poor fingers for a year or two.
