This is why your contributions are so aggravating for me. While I am presently being extorted by people you 'break-bread' with, you very helpfully offer poison-pill deals that are demeaning and despicable. I respect your intelligence too much to assume its on accident, so I assume malice, and I treat you accordingly. Except you also reveal that you simply do not grasp the basics of what is happening, and in your haste to please the Noyan, you ignore that I am making an honest effort to follow the rules, while you offer crippling poverty and call it a gift. I am going to presume that this aggressive dedication to missing points that you clearly caught and chose to ignore, is intentional.

I have said elsewhere and it has been acknowledged by people with way less meddling than you, that Saravoia is a vassal of the Duchy of Aster Malik. I further have said that the borders were set by the Duchy. I said the borders were for the benefit of the Duchy. And so I held what was in the contract to hold, because I keep my word.

The Duchy, via Lady Maris, amended their request, and I followed it.

You are not involved in any of this but you keep inserting yourself because of "bread-breaking." You referred to the "mass-graves" comment but you leave out the part where I said that if they attacked me, they would die before my walls.

How are you not comprehending that this warning is to not attack me? Did you perhaps miss that all the other communities of Meropis decided to not get involved that day, leaving me basically isolated? As such it is correct for me to attempt to ward off violence to a belligerent enemy - the Chaghut, who started this by threatening to kill me and load the mouths of women with horse dung and sew it up if they spoke out of turn again - who saw me isolated and thus vulnerable.

I really need you to meditate on that last line until you understand how unforgivable it was. Heaven help you if you disagree with its unforgivable nature.

So yes, I made some big scary witch statements, not demure at all, how dare I? And I name dropped you because I figured you'd back my stance and tell them this war wasn't worth it, but you didn't. You instead published an aggressively offensive set of terms of my "surrender" that would be heavily burdensome on the people who live here, while also stripping me of all pretense of it being more than frankly a forced labor camp for the Chaghut. And I declined your unrequested, unenforceable offer. Also, you aren't an ambassador. This is an outright act of deception, of fraud.

I'm going to explain this in very simple terms: the purpose of that language was to not fight. If you had backed me up, the odds of war go down. Instead you told him I was bluffing and handed me terms of surrender before a sword is drawn, in a pompous manner at that. This made it more or less certain.

No one with any self-respect would ever take your offer, Sir Kresslack. The Noyan is a thug, and a bully, and an extortionist, and frankly he's a damn misogynist and I'm not putting up with him, nor your apologetics.

This was none of your business and you had a chance to make it better but instead you made it worse. That is why this is on you. And do not ever lie again about whether you're trying to rally people, I see you and all the others who feel that what the Noyan is doing is not abhorrent.

So yes, some guy who wants to put me in my place and the Knight who accepts everything that man says at face value with no scrutiny, and a Guild I have supported for decades who immediately decides I get zero benefit of the doubt --

You have no business here, and as far as I can tell your only role is being one more in a long line of people trying to put me in my place. You are out line and are definitely contributing to the problem with your fraud, posing as the Noyan's voice when you are not.

So immediately stop trying to insult me for not taking insulting deals that you have no authority to guarantee. Its perilously close to a scam.
