I know not the extent to which this Oath was made public to Cyrene back then, nor how much you care, because it seems to be very little, but folks keep history in tomes for a reason, and if such made its way to my library, surely Cyrene retains this also.

Here is an extract from a tome that I was given, because all of the details are in there, and I cannot abide the public thinking you are clueless:

The Defence of the Aalen Forest, 913AF

INTRODUCTION:

In the year 913AF, the Underworld, under the direction of Slith, conquered the Aalen Forest. Upon doing so, they resurrected the former King of the Tsol'aa, La'ramhis. Working together, Cyrene and Eleusis coordinated with King Tu'eras to end the undead occupation and free La'ramhis from Slith's control. This tome seeks to record the discussions and events between Cyrene, Eleusis and the Tsol'aa Village as the Underworld approached the Aalen Forest through it's ultimate liberation.

WORLD CONTEXT:

Shortly after Cyrene awakened Blu's spirit in order to be able to conquer territories in 909AF, the Senate was faced with a dilemna. It recognized the proximity of the Aalen to Cyrene would make it a territory that Cyrene wouldn't want to fall under foreign control, but it also realized that conquering the Aalen for itself would anger Eleusis -- perhaps reinvigorating their military strikes against Cyrene after a few years respite.

The Senate saw that both Cyrene and Eleusis had a vested interest in protecting the Aalen forest. Although it was hotly debated, the Senate ultimately voted to approach Eleusis about coordinating to defend the Aalen. Initial efforts were rebuffed, but eventually Eleusians began to help Cyrene defend the Vashnar Mountains against Ashtan to prevent them from having access to the Aalen forest. Those initial fights eventually led to a Coalition forming amongst Cyrene, Eleusis and Targossas which saw them all loosely coordinating against Ashtan by the time the Slith broke free of his prison and the Undead made known their desire to conquer territory.
