Shall we assume that you leaving out the part about the Regency of Hashan knowing about and approving your development and use of village destroying poisons developed from Hashani research was intentional?

If you're going to feign contrition and beg for forgiveness, at least tell the whole story. I wouldn't worry about making the Regency look bad: The fact that it was easier for them to allow the poisoning of women and children than to defend their own sovereignty from King Liseat does that well enough.
