Eleusis has uncovered what cannot remain in shadow. A former citizen of Hashan has laid bare their long pursuit of a weapon that, when completed, will be capable of razing entire cities and villages to the ground. Their so-called P.E.A.C.E. Project is no dream of accord but a weapon that is being fed with corpses and made sport through contests that turned slaughter into a game. For years, their leaders and citizens alike treated the destruction of Eleusis as sport: contests were held, prizes given, and posts scribed with casual delight at the thought of our annihilation. This is not speculation. It is their own confession.

Know this also: Hashan's weapon is not only a threat to Eleusis. They sought its use upon Mhaldor as well, and only stayed their hand there because Eleusis refused to back down. Nothing prevents them from turning it on any city that defies them. Let none believe themselves beyond its reach.

The heart of a place lives in its people. If Hashan thinks they can wipe out Eleusis simply by destroying the village, they are incredibly mistaken. Eleusis cannot be erased. Burning our groves cannot break us. Bombing our village cannot silence us. Every Eleusian, from the oldest to the youngest, will endure.
