Greetings one and all,

Next year marks the 350th anniversary of the foundation of the Grand Merchant Collective. This will be a time of great celebration for the House and we'd like to share it with you! The following events will happen during the year.

1) Drawing of Lottery 18 - two days before Serenade at North of New Thera the draw will take place. Winners will be notified automatically and prizes distributed as quickly as possible. Many thanks to each of you that bought a ticket or two hundred!

2) Merchant Emporium Discounts - for the entire year Each of the Merchant Emporium shops will offer an additional discount of 10% to the citizens of their location so Ashtan, Cyrene, Hashan and Mhaldor citizens will all enjoy a little thank you for shopping local.

3) Carts - there will be two carts maintained for the year - one will have classic Merchant items sold at very low prices. The other will have mystery items for sale. Sealed envelopes will be on offer for the adventurous.

4) Ship event - A scavenger hunt will take place at sea, followed by diving. Further details will be revealed closer to the time.

5) Design competition - a competition will run for the year where we invite you to produce designs for three specified clothing items and three jewelery items. Those deemed meritorious will receive great prizes. Further details later.

6) Surprise events. We'll announce some surprise events where there will be little notice and you'll be invited to participate in a time intensive competition of sorts. You'll be given a short announcement, invited to register and you race against the clock!
