A Delayed, Measured Response

To the Wanderer of Progress, or whatever absent Divine you title yourself after these days,
I finally caught up to your latest public post offering the services of the Cauda Rubra to answer questions of lore and history. I think it rather silly to charge for a question about the life story of the old gypsy woman who resides near Delos, but if this is how the Cauda makes its coin these days, then who am I to judge?
However. What assurances do we, the witless and unknowing people of Sapience, have that the information we pay you for is correct?
I have no reason to believe you know any better than the gypsy woman about the history of the realms and the people in it. Perhaps your friends tell you how smart you are and you believe this is reason enough to offer your mind to the masses, but to ask for coin in exchange for it seems to me a hubristic display of greater intelligence without any displays of actual ability to back it up.
Who are you, and why do you know better than the libraries around Sapience who will answer my questions for free?
-Eoka e'Jahlorien
P.S. I shant be paying for the privilege of hearing your response to the above question.
