Critical Pattern Analysis

Severity Escalation: The illness has progressed from mild symptoms to severe, life-threatening manifestations. Two individuals (Cases 3 and 14) are now coughing blood, indicating serious internal damage.

Advanced Symptoms Include:
Coughing blood (Cases 3, 14)
Itching severe enough to cause bleeding (Case 3)
Burning pain in skin (Case 4)
Red blotches on skin (Case 14)
Chills/systemic symptoms (Case 3)

Common Progression Patterns:
Tingling a'Sore throat a'Itching (most common)
Direct onset of itching (some cases)
Respiratory complications developing in advanced cases

Urgent Conclusions

Epidemic Status: The number of cases has more than doubled, indicating rapid community spread or widespread exposure to the causative agent.

Life-Threatening Progression: What began as minor skin and throat irritation has evolved into a condition causing internal bleeding and severe tissue damage. Some require immediate intensive medical intervention.

Accelerating Timeline: The severity and spread suggest the illness is either becoming more virulent or affected individuals are reaching critical stages of disease progression.

Immediate Crisis: This is no longer a minor health concern but a serious epidemic requiring emergency response. Without intervention, fatalities are likely imminent among the most severely affected cases.

I will continue to monitor the spread of the illness on behalf of our village.

Stay safe, isolate if needed and please stop hugging each other for now. Many of those afflicted report hugging and close proximity just before infection.

I will include reports given to people outside of Eleusis if you send them to me.
