Hello Everyone!

Firstly I would like thank everyone for coming to the first session of our auction! We had a little bit of a false start but I think things only got smoother as we went along! My special thanks to my Lord Emperor Neraeos for gracing us with His presence and for placing the largest bid of the session for Tyrannus Zorina's "Catarin deSangre". Also special mention to the Holocaust King for the most expensive True Favour ever purchased, with a painting on the side.

In total, we managed to amass a whopping 26,010,000 gold and 60 credits before deductions, so congratulations to all our lucky winners and our newly wealthy submitters! Once again, a reminder for all UNIQUE lot winners to please contact their artists to discuss the terms of design ownership. If you cannot remember if your purchase was unique or not, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself after the second Auction, or Lady Jurixe.

Our next Auction session will be at Serenade and it promises to be even more exciting than the last!

Now! On to the meat of this update:

We at the Asterian Restoration have continued to be blessed by the boons granted to us by the Lord Bard. From the wonderful lectern that so many of you have enjoyed and the miraculous experiences of Imperial Seleucar brought to the present even if for such a short time, we caught a true glimpse of history in physical form. And of course, the never-before-heard tale of then Princess Catarin's presentation to King Valeria's court.

And now He grants us one more, but not for free.

A golden-stringed gittern, played by the Lord Bard Himself on that very same Royal presentation is now open for bidding. This storied instrument is a true part of the histories we have been allowed to witness over these past few months.

There is no amount of coin to pay for such a boon. Your bids will be made with creativity:

Until the end of the second Auction session (an estimated two days after Serenade), you may submit by SCROLL (TITLED WITH YOUR NAME), a synopsis or preamble of a story to either myself or Ladies Jurixe and Ruth. There is no theme, you may write as inspiration strikes you.

But be aware that as the Festival draws to a close, so does even our vaunted Logosian stamina. You'll need to produce a story idea most exceptional to capture our interest and waning attention spans.

Only three of these submissions will be allowed to pass muster, and of those three, one will be selected by Lord Scarlatti.

That winning bid will then be given the opportunity to complete and perfect their prototype of a tale in exchange for the prize.

In brief summary (though I can't imagine why you need it):

1) Come up with interesting story idea.
2) Write idea on scroll. TITLE SCROLL WITH YOUR NAME.
3) Give scroll to Jurixe or me by the end of the second auction.

(DO NOT GIVE US LETTERS. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY LETTERS WE HAVE)

For the curious who would like a glimpse of the gittern, a frozen image will be placed at the Eleanor Thalos Memorial Arboretum within the Asterian Restoration. There you may ponder upon your ideas, and maybe reminisce a little with the ornament that hangs there for inspiration.

Time's running down. Good luck!
