The purpose of asking about the ritual was because it was a commonly kicked around idea for how this began. However, early reports show that multiple people who had a symptom who did not go and before they encountered someone who did.

So at least personally, I doubt that gathering had anything to do with it.

I was going to wait a bit to post this, but I do not want the effort to get clogged up with that question.

While the question was about the gathering and not the Goddess, the gathering doesn't seem to be the issue, and of course Lady Pandora did nothing wrong.
