The Third Asteri Joust was held as part of the Asterian Convention on 9 Sarapin, 977AF. 16 Riders from seven nations faced off under the gaze of Haskor, Patron of Heroes, who drove his gryphon-pulled chariot between Delos and Aster Malik to witness the events. The crowd cheered for favorites and rivalries, riders saw bruising matches and shocking upsets, until reigning Aster Champion, the Cunning Countess Nezaya Visindi, faced off against an eager challenger in Squire Aeowynn Banazir, who once bested the Righteous Fire, Himself, in the lists! The two broke lance for lance in seven rounds, and forced a second match to settle the score. With a stunning dismount, Countess Nezaya defeated her rival and defended her title, winning the favour of Haskor and beseeching Him to unveil the shrouded origins of the Siren race!
