Nature's Savages

Salutations,

As city-states continue to feel the wrath of Nature upon their doorsteps, it seems a good time to address once more the direction and motivation of our savage fury.

The Viridian Charter is viewed by some as a lens to look through to our walk with Nature. By others as the commandments of Nature Herself. At the very core of every Villager's beliefs are these principles that we perceive in our own way. Supplying us with the freedom that allows each individual to act upon their savage intent, be it brutality in Her protection or education of Her preservation.

To my fellow savages, I believe now it is more important than ever to heed the tenets:
"Under Nature's influence, all kin shall exist in harmony."
"All shall be attuned to the thrumming of Nature's beating heart: from
Nature were we born, and to Nature shall we die."

Recall our freedoms and the contributions we all individually make to serve and protect Nature and that they are all equally relevant and respected. Together, united, we stand stronger against those that would see the demise of the very essence that gives them Life.

To those that would seek further and ongoing disruption and destruction of Nature, heed the tenet:
"That which is borrowed from the earth - the gift of life - shall be inevitably returned."

We are the harbingers of Nature's wrath. We will see your blood bathed upon the branches of the oak as your life force fades from your body back into the earth. Know your actions are futile and meaningless, because while our lives are not worthless they are insignificant in the sacle of greater Nature. The supplementation of your demise only strengthens the very thing you seek to destroy.

To the city-states that choose to sit idly by and watch and contribute to the ongoing deterioration of Nature, heed these tenets:

"The falsities of Iron and Stone exist only to excel the erosion of the world, and shall thusly be eliminated: no taint upon the earth shall be tolerated."
"In the cautious nascence of Nature, in rampant expansion, in golden
deadfall, and in vital decline shall the kin of Nature take heed."

The Village has long since pursued a diplomatic approach with the city-states on their stance and approach to Nature. Some would perceive its naive to seek the destruction of such city-states however, it is negligent to think or believe that such atrocities as Cyrene's destruction of the Forest of Light should be "let go". If diplomatic efforts cannot see such city-states attune for such crimes against Her, then expect the streets of your city to be adorned with the blood and body parts of your loved ones. If you seek not to preserve Nature, the very essence that breathes Life into your being, then you will not be tolerated.

Remember, we are all a part of the Great Cycle. You are born from Nature and your life begins. Immediately you begin to decay, setting in motion the very cycle you wish to avoid until inevitably you face your final death and you're returned to Nature from whence you came. So too will be the

The Village does not seek to make enemies, we seek to be in harmony with all in Nature. Foremost we look to educate and grow the protection and understanding of Her realm. If you find these tenets speak to you then you may find solace in Nature's embrace.
