This Conflict

Your re-framing of 'this conflict' with Eleusis is a poorly-engineered attempt at misinformation.

It ignores the long history of Hashani Aegeans, of course. Or that recent defilements have been focused on the shrines of the Earthmother, not those of the Aegeans. But details like this don't fit the convenient narrative you're attempting to push forward, do they?

The truth is something Hashan once ardently sought at all cost. You may not welcome it now that it no longer serves you, but it is evident to the savages who pour into your dim city and observe its army members retreating to safety from our onslaught time and again.

Did we continue our assaults after they fled? Indeed. Why should we show your civilisation mercy? Was it given to the forest of the Northern Ithmia when it was clear-cut to make way for new development? Is it shown to the wild beasts confined to an existence as spectacle within your city's disgusting menagerie?

No, Hashan has demonstrated nil capacity for concern toward Nature or a desire to live in Harmony with it, and as such none need be shown to it. What you receive instead is the ferocity of Nature's Scions, who gladly hurl themselves through wildgrowth and beyond to serve what is required: Retribution.

If you have essence left to Worldburn, perhaps your Order may win a few battles in the coming days. But 'this conflict' between the village and Hashan has already been proven out. That is why we find you here, trying desperately to shift the story and re-assert your city with pathetic threats.

How foolish you look littering the news with such dribble as Hashan meets clandestinely with its allies, sacrificing what little ethos it has left to afford yourselves small reprieve from the wrath of Nature's warriors.

Perhaps I do pity you, just a little. How much time do you have left Roualt before your incapacity to Progress anything but yourself becomes obvious to those around you?
