A Crossroads

Cyrene,

I sense shock and surprise from you, that your Imperiate has abandoned Creation by taking up the Occult. She has for many years now shown a willingness to be of two minds on any particular subject. We have borne witness to this in the last few months alone. Rest assured that no matter her platitudes, Keorin will know no peace from Targossian forces, called as we are to expunge all who would tolerate Chaos. If you defend Keorin, you will similarly be brought to an end for these actions.

For those who do not support her, I implore you: ask yourself not how she could do this, but how you could. How you could be a part of an organisation that would willfully support a leader who would easily abandon all that we hold dear in the name of some temporary, deeply dangerous advancement. This is the risk of neutrality. This is what I hoped to show you the alternative to. Alas, you've run out of time.

Keorin has cost you not just your Patron and your pride, but jeopardised your access to Creation's gifts. Occultism is a disease. It comes at an extraordinary cost. Your sleepy mountaintop city is at a crossroads. You are learning a lesson; that you will stand for something - or, as has been proven today - you will fall for nearly anything.

Reject Keorin's leadership outright. This is not a time for idle bureaucratic handwringing. It is a time for action. Cast her from your walls, that she might seek repentance. Until then, any who defend her will be offered no quarter.

In Light,
Dawnlord Lyndee Faelithar
