We of Hashan.

How amusing to hear that coming from a mutt that followed loyally at it's masters heels. It seems you've made a name for yourself in Hashan, Mezghar, when it wasn't all that long ago that you were slaughtering Hashani on the very streets you now govern. I do have to commend your predecessor on taking a chance on Farrah and those of you who followed her loyally from Targossas, if nothing else, you've done much for their military capabilities, even if the depth of your loyalties are less then suspect.

To put it simply Mezghar, you weren't even in Hashan when the decision to ally with the 'teth took place. You were still prostrate in Targossas, beating your chest in honour and loyalty to then Dawnlord Farrah, and you jumped on her bandwagon the moment she departed for the Court.

My point is, perhaps these tough words and boistourous patriotic babbling would come better from someone who's actually done something real for Hashan? Who made the hard decisions to get your city from where it was, to where it is now? Not someone who decided to move there on the coats of another. Someone who made Hashan relevant, not from someone who has just benefitted from what it had become before he even walked in the door.

I've missed our chats though buddy, send a card sometime won't you?

Your best friend,

Eril Rian-Moonshadow.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Ero, in the year 835 AF.
