Declarations.

Imperiate,

You have, at last, finished penning the archives of revisionist history and now turn your efforts to the world stage. I commend you on the fact that it only took thousands of your citizens slain and three decades of bureaucratic waffling to decide to raid those you declared your enemies near the turn of the century. This, truly, stands as a capstone achievement within the bounds of Cyrenian governance. I wholeheartedly applaud you for choosing to act so decisively, though I am certain your citizens will not.

It is noteworthy that you embrace Conflict, Imperiate, but you merely pass your hand near the fire. We of Hashan know Conflict as the old friend, the crucible, that which begets advancement and progress, aspects of the mortal existence which, it needs not be said, Cyrene will continue to fear unto perpetuity.

Know this. The parchment used to scribe these declarations decades in the making undoubtedly holds more weight than the words themselves. We of Hashan rise in opposition to your apathy. It is welcome that you finally grasp this.

Ever,

Mezghar Al'Jafri

Seneschal

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Ero, in the year 835 AF.
