Growth

One of the Targossian definitions of Growth relates to self-improvement that leads to the benefit of Good and Creation. They postulate that Growth for self and for Creation supports a positive feedback cycle that allows Growth to be easier to achieve. Thus, as a servant of Good becomes more adept in their ability to serve, hurdles to the flourishment of Creation are increasingly removed.

Many of you have asked me why I left my home so abruptly, and the answer is that this fallacious point of view is just one example of the failure of Targossian teachings that has forced me to redefine my own beliefs. This comfortable definition of growth only fosters complacency, and in turn, weakness.

Weakness must be eliminated in all its forms: Physical, Mental and Spiritual.

I embrace the Third Truth.

Reliance on the growth of the few allowed the development of apathy in the rest of the city. Evidence of this can be found in the long period of stagnation the East has seen since the end of the Third Black Wave, following the failures of the Caefir and the egress of their strongest individuals.

The enemies of strength are those who trumpet the effeminate values of forgiveness, tolerance, and laxity of discipline.

I embrace the Fourth Truth.

Targossas claims to seek strength and purity of Creation, but ironically sinks into the comfort of ineptitude while they preach the unchanging nature of Good. In this way Targossas allowed a weakness to fester within me, and I will see this rectified. The path that I now walk is of my own choosing, and I will see it through.

The spirit may be made stronger by enduring hardships, both self-imposed and externally imposed.

I embrace the Seventh Truth.
