Greetings,

Pushing aside the usual attacks and mudslinging that these boards see, I present the following riddle recently enjoyed in the Court of Shadows. For those interested and that enjoy such challenges, I list it below.

The riddle requires a keen intellect and understanding to discover the answer.

"Within the land did govern five kings
five kings that ruled by an oath proclaimed.
one king among pastures and swamp, with stone erected at its centre
one king fortified in the south, his mercenaries climbing the mountains
one king in the midst of carapace and croak
one king with men like giants and odd beasts in his gardens
one king and final ruled but not, a land in shadow and ghostly troops.

From each the oath is made and to each proclaimed.

What oath was taken?"
