As your Speaker writes, our war has come to an end. Much blood has been shed on both sides during this conflict, but I would be so bold as to say much has also been learned. Do not be disheartened by the ruins of your Gatehouse, such material things will be repaired in time, while the lessons learned from them will stay with us forever.

Your Speaker has displayed the ability to look past his own feelings, to listen to reason and see the state of the Village, which are the marks of one willing to progress. To any of you willing to do the same, I invite you to visit the Court of Shadows and learn more of us, civilisation, and Progress. Those of you who are enemied can seek to remedy that by the usual manner, simply contact someone from the Security ministry. If your only crime was being a soldier during the time of war, you will be unenemied without a fine.

I also extend to all of you the invitation to come visit our tent in the upcoming World Fair, to enjoy drinks, speak with us, browse our wares, and be entertained by our spectacles.
