The Seleucarian Games: The Path to Seleucar Results

As we reached the end of the Seleucarian Games, it was only fitting that our final championship event would be one that focused on the founding and the history of the empire that in its rise and fall created the Modern Age, and gives us these celebrations. And so we held the Path to Seleucar, an event challenging all who would come to walk across this land over the same paths that Nikolas, Severian, and the early Seleucarians once walked, tracing their footsteps all these centuries later.

Those who traveled along the Path followed those early steps in the founding of the empire, traveling from New Thera, where Nikolas and Severian began their travels, to the sites of their debates, from Meropis where Seleucar began as an early settlement, to the battlegrounds that would turn it to an empire. Competitors answered questions and studied along the way, and were scored based on who answered the most questions correctly, and who completed the path the fastest. But I hope that all who took part on this journey through our history brought something away from it.

A huge thanks to the Asterian Restoration for creating and running this event. The restoration has dedicated itself to preserving the history and knowledge of the past, and it was an honour to be able to work with them through this event. Even with the contest over, I would encourage anyone who has not walked the path yet to go and experience it for as long as it's still set up!

And so, the results of the Path to Seleucar are:

Coming in first place was Vincenzio, winning 100 credits and 12 championship points,
In second place was Aelyn, winning 50 credits and 10 championship points
In third place was Santar, winning 40 credits and 8 championship points
In fourth place was Isaeri, winning 30 credits and 6 championship points
In fifth place was Jadys, winning 20 credits and 5 championship points
In sixth place was Alasiel, winning 10 credits and 4 championship points
In seventh place was Kei, winning 10 credits and 3 championship points
In eighth place was Drefan, winning 10 credits and 2 championship points
In ninth place was Farrah, winning 10 credits and 1 championship points
In tenth place was Leorea, winning 10 credits and .5 championship points

At the end of this event, that puts the total scores for championship points at:
