The art of Progress

Seneschal,

Again I read progress, and the actions that the court have taken to somehow believe that this is true. I am curious, though, that you still cling to progress, after being the lap dogs of the Dawnspear. The same city that found themselves wholly lost on their own direction as they forgot their eternal-war with Chaos, then to suddenly remember it when the Tsol’teth saw fit to march upon their walls.

I do admit defying the vast-majority of sapience to ally with the Tsol’teth was a brave move, one I had not expected, but it seems, even with the rallying cry of such creatures, a new terminus, and the ceasefire with the Dawnspear, the Progress all involved have made is to lose a taken city and fail to assail the walls of two more.

Perhaps, with enough contortion, these losses, pleas for help and prostration to greater powers can be viewed as “progress”, in which case we’ll cast them to the annals of history next to the wars that Eleusis has won, the achievements of the guardians of Moghedu, and Shallam’s victory over Bal’met.

Should you come to your senses and finally wish to seek out Truth, my door is always open, as my blade ever-sharpened.

Ever in Iniquity,
Subjugator Minifie Lichlord.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Daedalan, in the year 802 AF.
