Be advised that the pirate Artanis will be hunted on sight. Like all cowards looking for easy sinkings, he targets sailors out trading and seamonster hunting and sinks them for amusement. The seas are not governed by Divine law, but cities may act as they choose. Cyrene will not tolerate attacks on our sailors and our Navy will hunt him any time he is at sea.

If you sail with Artanis or allow him on your ship, expect to be attacked. If you defend him, know that you are defending somebody who takes sport in sinking. If you fire a weapon on a ship Artanis attacks unprovoked, expect to be enemied.
