As the newest High Warden of Nature, I am beholden to Lady Gaia, Lady Artemis, and Lord Lupus to protect Nature from those who would wish it harm. A key responsibility is to decide who shall be enemies of the many great forests of Sapience, and levvying fines for those who do.

As most mortals know, the forests are a gift from our Divine and Lady Gaia, the EarthMother sustains the forests with Her essence. And while we love all of Nature's Divine, Lady Gaia holds a spot close to my heart as a former Gaian, as She was the one to summon Lord Lupus and it was Her essence that brought us Lady Artemis.

At those times where Her strength was reduced, the forests have suffered and died, the animals turned to manic zombies, or the very light stolen from the forest floor. The health of the forests is not just a concern for those who fight for the protection of the Forests - all mortals utilize the gifts of Lady Gaia, be they the soft grasses after a day of traveling, the very air you breathe, the shade trees after a day in the Mhojave, the curatives derived from the soil, or the commodities mined from her earth, all of Sapience has cause to celebrate Her, lest Her gifts be revoked. There is even appreciation to be found in the deadfall detritus as it provides nutrients to new growth - new life in Sapience, and coninued harmony. In the past, She has left care of the forests to mortals who have taken the oaths to protect Her gifts, all under the watchful eye of the High Warden.

I pen this missive to inform all that I have recently un-enemied a number of former enemies due to poor record keeping, lack of evidence, or because they are no longer threats to Nature. I have also updated all charges against those who have continued to harm Nature. Should you wish to address your status, simply message me and we will enter discussions.

With that said, the next point to address is fines. Previously, the maximum fine imposed was 200,000gp and a 10 year waiting period. Effective 1 Sarapin, 773 this will no longer be the case. Fines will not be capped.

FINES:
o Assisted Exterminations will incur a 5,000gp fine per instance.

o Exterminators will incur a fine of 10,000gp and 2 elemental ice per instance.

o Those with old charges of dropping holocaust globes, arsonists, and overharvesting will be charged the same as exterminators.

o All other charges will be handled on a case by case basis.

- Those with up to 50 charges will receive a simple fine once they have not harmed Nature for 5 years since their last offense.

- 51 to 100 charges will require a fine, will need to patrol for one year alongside Eleusian patrollers, and not harm Nature for a period of 10 years.

- Over 100 charges will require a fine, patrol for at least one year, 10 year waiting period, and perform a ritual honouring Nature with Eleusis.

Know now, any forestal who turns their powers against Nature or Eleusis, will see themselves as an enemy of the forests.
