Equivocations and Misperceptions

It's laughable that in one fell swoop, being a member of the City of Ashtan and it's great house for centuries can be construed as a source of authority for one, and just as quickly dismissed for another. How quickly you equivocate my criticisms about Hirst's personal behavior as an attack on the ideals that Ashtan holds dear. If you're comfortable with Hirst touting that he knows the will of the Chaos Court, then by all means, but I think you overstep in that the Prophet himself holds that right. I am no stranger with communing with the Chaos Lords, nor do I take for granted the power they hold over Sapience.

Please look back on my previous statements, you will see clearly that my statement was not a defense of the 'shadow court', Hashan, or otherwise which you seem to have mistakenly misperceived. While your loyalty to Hirst is admirable, it's misplaced here. How could 'the ramblings of an out of touch old man' pose threat to the sovereignty of Ashtan if Ashtan's behavior has clearly demonstrated that it's it's own worst enemy in it's impulsivity to laud it's own accomplishments in my ousting when they amount to nothing but a mountain of ash. My exile only proves my point.

Ashtan has always held my allegiance and always will, but it's players today have proven they choose to only selectively honor the agreements they make. Would the Chaos Lords approve of such wanton disregard? Maybe, as they are fickle and prone to their own whims. But lets call a spade a spade. When Oblivion comes.. so shall it for you. And when it does, the Black Mage will be waiting.

In chaos and confusion, fnord!, and all that jazz.
