I have duly atoned for the sins I have committed during my life. I begin life anew, all grudges forgotten, all men equal in my eyes. I have chosen to lift the burden of others' sins from my weary shoulders. Alas, I pity the corrupt and sinful, forever punished by the weight of their conscience upon their souls.

To those who bear hatred towards me and my kindred, you are welcome to revel in your blind weakness, but your hatred does not trouble me. Hate all you wish--I myself prefer to follow the path of love and goodwill.

My friends, there is no war in the lovely land of Achaea. The only war that rages is greed. I see no need for such an unnecessary struggle for domination. Ashtanites, you began the war to enforce your sovereignty of Ashtan. The rest of us could care less about what you do with your Ashtan. You have your sovereignty. We Shallamites and people of the Church are satisfied with our lot, and we wish for our city to be left in peace. The horrors and filth of Ashtan are repulsive to me, and I personally avoid your city like an eyesore.
