Dear Members of Sapience,

As has recently been bought to my attention, there are some that believe
the CIJ are somehow related to some sort of "Fish Slapping" competition.

While we encourage our members to be unique snowflakes (and sometimes
'special starfish') with large ladels of freedom, it is important to
note that not every young knave represents us or our ideology as a
whole.

Fish slapping is not endorsed, nor opposed by the CIJ. You may do what
you will with your trout, herring, tuna, wall-eye or sardine. The CIJ
has no opinion on such matters, nor does it seek to regulate or judge
your interraction with our underwater friends. "Friends" here used in
the general sense of the term, and does not suggest any particular
alliance or war with the aquatic creatures of Sapience.

As such, please continue to enjoy or ignore any previous mention of Fish
Slapping competitions without any mental affiliation with the Carnivalis
Institute.
