Although this is hardly the medium to vent your frustrations in, I feel
it prudent to address your aligations here; after all, it seems we are
to present a spectical for the world, and who am I to deny such an
opportunity.

Let us begin with an initial statement, to make specifics clear: the
word of an Ashtani will always superceed the word of a non Ashtani when
it comes to city matters, unless there is evidence to the contrary:
evidence consisting more than a statement that the Ashtani in question
is fabricating. Now that that simple clarification is out of the way--no
doubt one you could have received if you had simply requested an
Archon's statement on it in the first place--let us move on.

You state, and I shall paraphrase: "by his claim the Archons" refuse to
remove your status. I assure you, if you had merited a permanent enemy
status--the only incident when the Archonate becomes involved in such
affairs--you would have had ample opportunity to request it be lifted in
person. However, I digress: the more pressing reason for this post.

I will disregard the fact that you felt the need to involve a house in a
personal enemy status affair, and address the accusations of extortion
and wrongful enemy statuses. Given the standard fines and terms, I took
the liberty of examining our records: your fine would have consisted of
5000 gold sovereigns, to be paid at your convenience; incidentally, the
amount you wasted throwing a tantrum. However, given that you think so
highly of the city state of Ashtan and associated government, and feel
the childish need to vent your frustrations in a public forum rather
than approaching an official to clarify the situation, I have taken the
further liberty of altering that: you'll be welcome to deposit the gold
at your convenience, along with a public appolagy.
