Dear Mathowny,
Old friend, I was most surprised when I heard of this announcement of
yours, claiming you had been granted this sudden enlightenement, of
Oblivion.
oh, Mathowny, once Archprelate, Champion of the Light, I laugh at this.
I laugh, and I shake my head in wonder at what has happened to you. But,
I disgress, for I have something I would like to enlighten upon you.
Oblivion is an illusion, a deception. The very possibility of such a
Void, an Oblivion of everything, is the only thing that gives it
strength. Look around you, and with each moment, Growth is around you.
This destination you seek is simple the dillussion of some Mad God,
seeking to escape the curse He feels inflicted upon Him. You follow a
dream, old friend, a flight of fancy.
Let me tell you to truth, as I have learned it. Laugh if you wish, and I
truly hope you do, but listen a brief moment if you will.
Good is eternal. From the outset of modern history, one concept grew to
strength first, and that was Good. It has been the axis of conflict from
the start of days, and shall be till the end. But while Good is eternal,
Good also grows. Oh, I know, Good is unchanging, but this simply is not
so. Good changes, as mortals evolve, as the understanding and knowledge
the Gods grant us in Their Divine aspects teach us the different aspects
of Life.
Scoff, as you say I am crazy, as Growth is my Goddess, my sight blinded.
Scoff, those too entrenched in tradition to see that the Te'Serra
Themselves are trying to explain this singular truth to you. Good shall
grow. Growth in all it's forms is Good. Evil even, indeed, has it's
place.
What! Oh, your hands must be high in the now, even as the Mhaldorians
chuckle at my words! But I tell you truth, it does, for it helps Good
evolve, even as itself has! Where once One Lord, Sartan, ruled supremely
over Mhaldor, when the city had learned enough to accept, the Twin Lords
were formed, Suffering and Oppression coming forth to show that even in
the heart of Evil, Growth happens, and Growth in itself, spreads
Creation.
Oh, yes, We can not forget you, Oblivion. The purpose of my posting
today. With all this around you, Growth on each side, you must be
wondering where your place is. It is the refuge pit of Creation, the
small hole where we throw the ideas of old, and replace them with the
Growth of today. The void, as it is called, empty and hungry, removes
the waste of Creation, and allows it to continue it's Growth unhampered
of the old, constantly living towards the new.
Your God is the humgii, chained at His post and forced to sit at the
wayside of Creation, wallowing in anger. I do not blame Him, it is
indignant of His powers to be such, but alas, it was the position He was
dealt. He wanted to play for a change, so He made a delusion for you to
follow, nothing more. He may strike me down a hundred thousand times,
but my words ring no less true. His delusion is all you follow, and all
you will recieve.
Embrace the truth, Mathonwy, and push away these dreams. I once cursed
your name for performing your duty, but I later respected you as a wise
man of the Light. I pray you can only find your way out of this fantasy,
and back into the Light.
May the Lady constantly shine over those that seek Her blessing, in
grace and sunlight.
