Have a care

Caliph,
All of Sapience is familiar with your people's propensity to disavow
anything that is not illuminated for them in full, whether by the tepid
light of a pyre or the vibrant light of the Sun. But, I digress. I
accept that it is your prerogative to decry your enemies for their
outrageous misconduct in the name of the all-pervasive light--after all,
it seems to be the limit of your capabilities, these days! I would,
however, suggest that you take care in regard to the manner in which you
target what I am sure passes for outstanding wit in the East. The price
for derogatory and insipid jests at the expense of the Lord of the Abyss
can only be paid in blood, presuming he deems you beneath His notice.
In service to Oblivion,
Tanris Rozzan
Keeper of the Flame-Bright Spear
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Mayan, in the year 580 AF.
