The Messenger and His casino in Thera.

It has come to my attention, after the placement of the non-violence
clause of quite a few years back, that people assume they can lead their
enemies into the casino, under the pretext of partaking in the
Messenger's realm with gambling or frivolity or whatever else. This is
unacceptable.

The Hermae may be quiet, but we are not powerless, and definitely not
stupid. We enforce the non-violence clause to give everyone that truly
wishes it a safe place to while away their time and gold by partaking of
the Messenger's own realm. There have been many cases of using the fact
of being branded an enemy to Luck being thrown around carelessly towards
personal enemies. This will not continue, or we will be forced to take
more drastic actions to protect the sanctity of the Messenger's casino.
It is His temple, and you would do well to show the proper respect
towards a place so significant to a God.

As such, there is now an addendum to the non-violence clause currently
in effect. This applies to all casinos in the realms, on plane and off,
with the exception of the Mysian casino. Anyone found to be bringing
violence into a casino, slaying attendants of a casino (regardless of
what city they reside in), or defiling a casino in any way, will find
themselves an enemy of Luck. Furthermore, if you bring violence into a
casino, meaning, you get attacked by an adventurer, all parties involved
will be declared an enemy of Luck without exception until the point
where recompense has been made to the Messenger. If you purposely loiter
in a casino, -especially- that of Thera, with the sole intention of
having your enemy attack you there, you will both find yourself at
fault. There will be no further exceptions to this rule. I refuse to let
the Messenger's temple be degraded into a bloodbath. Take it to North of
New Thera or an arena if that's what you desire. Leave the casino for
what it was created for - Gambling.
