Mot,
Free people you may be, but what do you do with that freedom? You
continue to blindly follow your leaders in their reckless and selfish
quest to herald in Oblivion, whether directly as Imyrr did previously,
or passively as Darknight does in his continued allowance of Chaos
worship within your walls.
Your desire to stand up for what you think you believe is admirable, in
part, but it's interesting that you would claim Valour for Ashtan in
your previous post when this is so far from it. True Valour is the
informed bravery and dedication of an individual to stand up for a
worthy cause no matter the cost to oneself. Ashtani citizens, even
otherwise decent and loyal ones such as yourself, are nothing other than
misguided, led by deceivers and manipulators, following the promise of
Freedom as you unknowingly assist the continued efforts to bring about
the end of everything.
For that is, indeed, what this prolonged war is over.
The forces of Light mass against you and yours not out of self-interest
or blind zealotry; we set ourselves only against those who would help
bring about the destruction or degradation of this realm of Creation. We
value this gift, given to us by Ayar, above the fleeting promises of
power offered by Babel or the court of Golgotha, and we continue to
defend it against those who would throw it away.
If you are truly honoured to fight for and alongside people who would
throw away not just your life, but your very existence, for their own
personal power, then I would suggest you have more important things to
consider than my words or the reach of the Church.
Imploringly,
Silas Maynard
