Citizens of Eleusis,
Once again you are reminded of the consequences for being the lapdog of
the East - the Sylvan icon dusted over nothing more. You will continue
to be held accountable for the actions of Shallam so long as your
village continues to clearly support the interests of Shallam before any
other. The eastern colonization will stop, or the deconstruction of
Eleusis and its territories will continue.
Why any sane leadership would imagine your current course a viable
option I cannot fathom. The sentinel icon fell with no Shallamite help
in the wake of utter decimation in Shallam, a battle in which Eleusis
fought valiantly to help the East. The Sylvan icon was more fortunate,
of course. Grateful that the Jewel would receive such monolithic
assistance from what once had dubbed itself a forestal village, they
sent a single troop to witness the destruction of their allies' icon.
Truly the type of allies worth destroying your own city over, Speaker.
This is a simple process. Withdraw your support of Shallam and the
troops of Ashtan will allow you to breathe and rebuild once more. Do not
be fooled any longer. The continued savage assaults by the Bastion will
be heard from sea to sea, and will not cease until the propagandized
version of biased-neutrality purported by the current leadership is
abandoned.
How much would you sacrifice for an Eastern dream?
