Getting Back to Work

Sapience.

Long have I remained idle. My work in the past is well known by some,
though I am unclear as to how younger generations perceive me. I will
cut to the chase - I wish to advertise my services to the public.

Regardless of your affiliation, regardless of what organizations you
belong to or what faith you hold, you have likely seen my work - whether
you have known it or not. I write for and advise those of all walks of
life.

What can I offer you? My ear and two centuries of experience as an
analyst, administrator, ritualist, politician, ghostwriter and spy. I
have resided in most cities, learned with and exchanged barbs with the
best and brightest of Sapience, and belonged to or studied most
organizations.

I am well suited to assist in matters of damage control, transfers of
power, contingency planning, social and intelligence analysis, legal
disputes and organizational restructuring.

I require no payment for my services. I require no public accolade for
my successes.

The sole selection criterion for my aid will be how interesting I find
the subject. Potential clients will be evaluated by their character,
intellect, abilities, reputation and motivation. All requests and
discussion related to them will be held in strictest confidence,
regardless of my decision upon hearing you out.

Why do I do this? Quite simply, I find the work inherently rewarding. I
like seeing ambitious and intelligent people succeed. I abhor stasis,
and I enjoy driving change.

I make no guarantee of exclusivity. I promise that the interests of
friends and clients both will be fairly balanced.

My commitment to this endeavor is such that I feel I must renounce my
ties to the Order of Oblivion. I remain a loyal citizen of Ashtan, and I
will not compromise the Bastion's interests.

I am a professional. One that has been idle far too long.

Give me work worthy of my skills.

Father Reznik Saer'rac

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Phaestian, in the year 552 AF.
