For my Beloved Bastion, in Public Forum as I have no other means.

I scribe this missive with all due respect for the Divinity mentioned
herein, and the great Warriors and Leaders of Ashtan, Past, Present and
Future.

It has been said that I am a traitor to my beloved Bastion of the North,
Ashtan, City of Freedom. The charges are that I worked with the Qashar
and Shallam, and my seditious acts included resurrections, herb sales,
refills, possibly passing information, secret meetings, and other
assorted such matters. These accusations have grown so preposterous that
Lord Pandemonium himself has appeared in response to my crying out to
him for help, in order to call me a Liar and a Fallen One. I was told
that if I didnt rock his boat anymore, I wouldnt get hurt. Well, here is
me, rocking the boat. Because, Ashtan, youre worth it. I love my home.

Whoever lied to him will be found out, eventually. It always comes out
eventually. So the choice is yours, Ashtani or otherwise, if you care to
tell the truth now Ill never say another word to you about your part in
this. If you know the truth and you elect to stay silent or lie again, I
promise you whatever hurt this missive brings on me is going to be
rained down on your head ten thousand fold. I will not ever let you rest
in peace.

I deny all charges of sedition, I have never, will never, and I doubt
would be welcome to, work with Dannyl, Darroth, Silas, Aximand, Jovaras,
Micaelis, Kailo, Rystal, Davin, Wronic, Cooper, Daje, Ovid, Enyo,
Delphinius, or any other member of Shallam, the Church, the Light, the
Qashar, Eleusis, or other entities in any way shape or form which would
cause harm directly or indirectly to Ashtan. Anyone who says otherwise
falls into one of two categories: Mistaken, or Liar.

I acted in the best interest of Ashtan when discussing all matters with
those people listed above, including meeting with many of them in secret
and obtaining information about the attacks on Ashtans Icons, the plans
for assaulting the city, the strategies employed in protecting Shallam
from Raids by Ashtan and Mhaldor, and the use of groves for resurrection
in Nishtoba, as well as on mainland Sapience. I never once gave away
secret information, or anything of value to obtain these vital elements,
which were then turned over to Ashtani. The names of these Ashtani will
remain unpenned in this public venue for their continued safety.

Ashtan is, and will always be my only priority. Let me come home.
