The victory of Mhaldor

Dear Tyrannus,
Your single victory from a host of Chaos-worshippers and murderers
against a small contingent of defenders seems more an act of desperation
than any military victory. I do understand the need to prove yourself to
the fellow citizens of Mhaldor and the world as a new Tyrannus, and so I
will allow your ego that victory. However, count your Masters' shrines
in the world. Count how many altars to Suffering and Oppression remain
to defile our land? How many idols to Evil and Chaos and Darkness stand?
How many times has a small number of warriors of the Light bested your
strongest?
The few that we have lost from our cause are dissenters and traitors-
blasphemers to the Gods of Good. And what knowledge of morality do you
have, Augur of Abbadon? You have no knowledge of morality to know what
is with or without it. Morality is not a concept that stagnates- it is
an eternal truth that mortalkind follows from birth, unless poisoned by
the sickness of Evil or the taint of Chaos. It is an innate character
trait that yes, even you were born with, Tyrannus.
And even throughout your whimpering from inside your locked fortress,
our forces grow stronger. Our victories become ever-more, and Sapience
cheers us on as the suffocating hold you have held on the land is
diminished. For every person we lose from our ranks, ten more join us.
And we look past ourselves, past our small differences to see the goal,
that Light that we strive for every day of our lives- that day in which
Creation may flourish without the hindrance of Evil or the poison of
Chaos.
So rejoice in what mayhem you have caused us this month, for Justice is
swift and decisive. Hold fast to your crooked crown, oh Tyrannus, for
one day it will fall from your head when Mhaldor is vanquished. And when
the Spires of the Baelgrim Fortress are razed, and the Red Square is
destroyed, and the last heretical lie spread by your clergy is burned in
our pyre, the world will breathe a sigh of relief. Evil is an illness,
and one that we have all had for too long.
I only pray that the citizens of Mhaldor do not follow you into the
self-hating blight that is Evil, and instead seek to repent their sins
against Creation.
