Your imminent downfall

Written by: Honest Sabiru, Augur of Abbadon
Date: Sunday, July 4th, 2010
Addressed to: The City of Shallam

Shallam,

Your finest citizens depart this new East in disgust, seeking no longer
to dabble in the immoral stagnation lauded by your priests and
scriptures, nor to cling to the exploits of any thuggish band or village
of half-wit savages. Your only redeeming act has been that of digging
your own grave - I trust those such as Batang will provide you with
fitting company in those final moments.

As a small penance for your continued crimes against mortalkind, your
Royal Guard, Kirin and all seventy-five of your well-paid Djinn, Monks
and Dawnstriders have been slain. Should your own citizens not consume
you, Shallam, there are legions of far greater individuals who will.

Theirs sincerely,
Tyrannus Sabiru, Augur of Abbadon

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Daedalan, in the year 542 AF.
