Greetings,

I wish to thank everyone who has shown a desire to both help the
Athenaeum and attend our gala. I must confess that interest has far
surpassed expectations. Whilst we have now made accommodations for the
extra guests so far, our suppliers cannot guarantee canapes for any
further guests. As such, we are no longer selling invitations to the
Grand Soiree. Any letters received after this post shan't be honoured.
If I find time I shall attempt to return them to you, but I make no
guarantee of this.

I look forward to seeing those of you lucky enough to have an invite in
seven months time!
